What is SynkedUP and who is it for?

SynkedUP is a web and mobile app, a software, that specializes in helping contractors “know their numbers” and save time in operating their businesses.

Helping contractors “know their numbers” is a cliche term that means helping contractors understand what it costs them to be in business, which in turn, helps them know exactly what they should charge in markups and labor rates on quotes, and dramatically speed up estimating with less human error.

It then also helps them track their jobs out in the field, tracking expenses, hours, and profits. This data is then used to “job cost”, meaning comparing estimated costs, hours, and profits vs actual costs, hours, and profits.

This info shines a bright light into where you’re making money, and where you’re losing. This in turn tells you exactly what needs adjusted and tweaked on your next quote, to ensure you always price your job for profit.

In addition to the “know your numbers” aspect of SynkedUP, it also helps operationalize your business.

Imagine doing brain surgery on the owner operator contractor, and pulling everything out of their head, and installing that knowledge into repeatable systems and processes.

That’s what SynkedUP does.

Which in turn, removes the owner operator as the bottleneck, and systemizes the business. Allowing other people, employees, to do things that at one time, only the owner could do.

This lifts a tremendous burden from the owner operator’s shoulders, and saves a ton of time in doing the things that need done to run a business.
  • Estimating
  • Sending Proposals
  • Scheduling
  • Tracking time and expenses on jobs
  • Invoicing
  • and more…

Who is SynkedUP for?

SynkedUP is built for owner/operator contractors running construction & service businesses in the $250k – $5m+ revenue range.

SynkedUP best suits companies that are design/build/install first, and recurring maintenance second. (ie lawn maintenance) It also has excellent capabilities for snow removal.

If your business is primarily recurring maintenance (ie lawn maintenance), there are other options out there on the market that are a better fit for that model. (Full disclosure – unfortunately, those other options don’t provide the “know your numbers” aspect that SynkedUP does. 😥)

If your business is under $250k in revenue, we have free tools (down in the footer of this site) and a course that teaches you how to know your numbers manually, until you’re ready to commit to a paid software like SynkedUP.

The types of businesses that usually sign up for SynkedUP and see 2-20X ROI results are:

  • trying to figure out how to consistently price jobs for profit
  • trying to figure out where they’re leaking money
  • looking to save boatloads of time in estimating jobs and getting quotes out, and admin work
  • wanting a professional way to send quotes to customers and get approvals/signatures.
  • owner operators that are looking to set up their business with systems and processes so that it can run without them, and the business relies less on the info stuck in their heads.

If you’re wondering whether SynkedUP is a good fit for you and your goals, the best way to cut through the fog and find out is to book a demo. We’ll have a conversation and show you what it does, and we’ll forthrightly tell you when or if it doesn’t do what you’re looking for.
